Londa B., a St. Louis native, is currently pouring all her strength into being a true Woman of Purpose. Living life abundantly between St. Louis, MO. and Atlanta, GA., Londa B. is on a mission in defining the purpose of her life. She understands the importance of living life with purpose. The author believes the secret to her success is Kingdom Living. "I cant go through life just existing. My life has a divine purpose. In the end, my judgment will speak volumes, because I carried out God's divine purpose. It's funny how we try holding onto someone even stronger after they've passed versus the time they lived on earth. For me? I wont be mad if people think of me daily, pray for my loved ones, support my businesses and share my vision with others. I know that in death, someone else receives life, or a second chance in living a purposeful life. If people can only remember me for my sweet potato pecan pies after I am gone, then I have a lot of explaining to do to the Lord.
My Bishop, ( Larry J. Baylor of Faith Miracle Temple ) talked about the importance of making sure ones vision or dream is fitted with the mentality of it being suited for the Kingdom. When he delivered this message, I was at a critical point in my life. I'd already taken the steps in cleansing my spirit and life. I removed people and things which were more of a spirit killer. I knew there were a lot of piggy-back riders, and people who doubted me and I could not have those spirits around me. I had to re-think and re-align my plans with the Lord. I wanted to be sure my vision was one which would bless others. His message was so on point because I finally understood what the Lord wanted me to do. CREATE A GLOBAL VISION! The vision within me grew so powerful, I saw soul's being saved, altered, and taylor made for Kingdom Living. I am who I am because of the Lord."
With her focus sharp, and her mission assignment prepared, this successful woman manages to hold down a marriage of 13 years, raise two beautiful teen-aged girls, own and operate a publishing company ( www.purposefulpublishingandmedia.info ), and non-profit group ( Mind over Matter 2 Day, Inc .) In addition, she is the host of her own radio show, Touch Up on IT!
Saving the best for last, is her advocacy work within the mental health arena. Her diagnosis with bipolar disorder and PTSD allowed her to witness how the lack of education on mental health issues; pained the spirits of the people dealing with the disease(s). "People will do a number of things once they find out someone has an illness or disability. They can laugh, be rude, or run-away from it. Sure, I had friends that left me, business associates discontined doing business with me, and then, there are some not even worth discussing. Through it all, I refused to become upset. To me...it was an indicator on how much education and stigma busting needed to be done in regards to mental health issues. It's the stigmas that hurt!" Londa B. is on a mission to kill every stigma related to mental health issues.

"Everyone has the potential and the chance to shine....sadly, there are some who want to shine all the time! The will of God is not for self, but for others!"

When this Woman, and Writer with a Purpose, is not rockin her fierce stilettos in the business arena, advocating for mental health issues or making rounds to public speaking engagements; she prefers to dress down while working on her books, movie/tv projects, voice over work and last but not least, vacationing with her beloved family. "Everyone wants to know where I disappear to sometimes, and I laugh and tell them that, "I'm deep in my cave. I'm just trying to create a new way to be of service to the community and Jesus Christ! This is about those in need---not me! The picture of life is so big; I can't see how people miss seeing the purpose of his or her life. I'm grateful to the Lord that my reward for service is not here on this earth, but in the eternity above."
Today, Londa B. has three, soon to be, six books out on the open market. Her books can be purchased on-line or at any major book retailer. Look for upcoming movie and television projects from this Diva, late Spring 2011. Londa B. credits her Savior Jesus Christ, family members, her psychiatrist, therapist, trainer, and a wealthy amount of devoted followers for her success. "With hard work, and passion entwined, one will accomplish and experience many great things in their lifetime. Life without passion and purpose is such a sin."
